As a polymath, I possess the ability to synthesize many different dimensions through one single lens. The word itself comes from the Greek polys (“many”) and mathematikei (“to learn”), rooted in akoustikos; to listen. A good disciple listens; discipline and disciple share the same root. Through deep listening, the disciple eventually becomes the master of his own practice. Throughout history, the polymath was the norm among the curious. During the Renaissance, synthesis flourished through the seven liberal arts: the Trivium: grammar, rhetoric, and logic; and the Quadrivium: arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy. I bring forth this tradition as a professional artist, as an evolutionary astrologer, including axioms from the Austrian School of Economics, integrating Jungian and somatic practice through my writing and all my creations. They are part of the same thread; I simply wear a different lens in how I choose to express each one of them. An integrated inquiry into what it means to be fully alive and sovereign.

I was born into a lineage of progressive women pedagogues. My grandmother founded the first preschool in Colombia in the late 1930s, inspired by Friedrich Fröbel, who believed that each child carries an inner law of growth that unfolds through freedom and attention. My mother named her school after John Dewey and built it around one principle: education should not prepare children for life, it should be life itself. That is what she passed on to me — education as inquiry, awareness as participation, and responsibility as the foundation of freedom. Writing arrived as a natural extension of that lineage. My grandmother taught through play. My mother taught through inquiry. I teach through art, through writing, through readings, and through the study groups I have been facilitating for the past year.

There is a devotion. I am devoted to my public art. I am also keen on reading astrological charts, supporting people, and writing — a weekly Substack running four years now, and two books. I am a passionate educator and facilitator. The languages I have learned — Evolutionary Astrology, Human Design, Jungian psychology, somatic practice, Austrian economics — arrived through curiosity, not curriculum. And last but not least, understanding what fiat money is and why Bitcoin has emerged as the most important innovation of the 21st century: a scarcity of value, a store of value, a medium of exchange, and a state of consciousness. Inquiring about these psycho-technologies has been pivotal in the direction and the state of being I find myself in.

I am an artist in the present tense and also at all times, even if I am not producing or exhibiting. I do not have to be always on. Vocation is an inner calling — devoted and pursuing joy in the act of inquiring deeply, experiencing, and then sharing.

ARTIST STATEMENT — MY VISION

SHORT BIO

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, I lived in Europe for eight years in my mid-20s, where I studied fashion design and photography. I then moved to New York City in 1994, where I developed my artistic and spiritual Taoist/Buddhist practice until the summer of 2020, when I escaped the matrix. I now live in Miami Beach.

I represented the Vatican Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale, and in 2021 I was honored with the Civitella Ranieri Visual Arts Fellowship in Italy.

I have exhibited my work internationally, including at the Rubin Museum of Art; the 56th Venice Biennale representing the Vatican City-State at the Pavilion of the Holy See; The New Museum in New York; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía; Museo de Arte del Banco de la República; Museo de Arte Moderno Bogotá; the 5th Seoul International Media Art Biennale; Seoul Museum of Art, South Korea; CAB [Caja de Burgos] in Spain; Site Santa Fe in New Mexico; and Stenenser Museum of Oslo, Norway.

PUBLIC ART

My most recent public art projects include Vida at the Vida Public Health Building in San Antonio; Arcana, installed at the University of Washington's Interdisciplinary Engineering Building; Ouranos, Above Us Only Sky for MTA Arts & Design at Grand Central Madison in NYC; LIMINAL at St. Paul International Airport; and Unus Mundus at the East Boston Police Headquarters. Concerning Unus Mundus, I developed and implemented an innovative series of experiential workshops within the community itself that supported dialogue between the police department and community members.

Other significant works include An Interval of Time (2020) for the Landmarks Public Art Program at the University of Texas at Austin and Duration (2017) for MTA Arts & Design at Prospect Avenue Subway Station in Brooklyn, NY.

PHILOSOPHY + PRACTICE

My philosophy integrates Eastern, ancestral, and cosmological traditions with psychological inquiries, praxeology, and Austrian economics, emphasizing liberty, value, resources, and self-worth in the quest for individual and societal service.

I'm also the author of The Nature of My Reality, a self-published book co-produced with Mari Budlong. It traces my journey from disempowerment to self-awareness, exploring economic systems, banking history, and their ties to political and ecclesiastical authority.

I am writing a second book, The Art of Synthesis: The Architecture of Value, a whimsical journey across time with visionaries who have shaped and provoked my imagination, where these dialogues occur.

Since 2020, I have devoted myself to a deep dive into trauma, consciousness, sound resonance, Human Design, Austrian economics, common law, somatic practice, Nonviolent Communication, and circling and deepened my studies on Evolutionary Astrology and Jungian shadow work. I am not an academic; I have educated myself profoundly through direct transmissions from teachers, driven by an endless curiosity to learn, integrate, and embody.

Recently, I've delved into educating about what I view as one of the most significant innovations of our era: Bitcoin. To me, it embodies a state of consciousness, representing the outcome of extensive exploration in various languages and tools to align my soul with its source. Sovereignty, for me, transcends being a mere hashtag; it's a lived practice.
