The fabrication process was closely managed and entirely delegated to Glasmalerei Peters, the glass studio in Germany. We worked through several rounds of meetings — remote sessions where we reviewed color samples, panel layouts, and light transmission tests together. The studio sent physical samples across the Atlantic, and I evaluated them against the original design drawings, adjusting values and densities until the glass behaved the way the light required. The full fabrication took a few months, a back-and-forth that demanded patience and precision on both sides. The metal framework was developed in parallel, engineered to hold the glass panels across the full 280 square feet of wall without interrupting the visual continuity of the composition.
