ARCANA

In April 2025, I flew to Seattle to oversee the installation of Arcana at the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building at the University of Washington. It was the beginning of spring — the city still cool and green, the building full of light. The installation team, led by Carlos Valenzuela, brought together a group of people who worked with real professionalism and ease. There was genuine conversation on site, a collaborative energy that made the process feel like a shared endeavor rather than a job. Watching the panels go up, seeing the glass catch the afternoon light exactly as we had imagined it during the design phase, was one of those rare moments when everything closes the loop. It was fun, and it was right.
